Shepherd Neame employs 7 qualified Master Brewers to ensure all our beers are brewed to the highest quality. Together that totals over 160 years of brewing experience!

The brewer uses 200024000 litres of water every year - the equivalent to filling 72 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

PGIBishops Finger and Spitfire Premium Kentish Ales (also available in the System Bolaget) are both registered with the European Commission as a Protected Geographical Indicator (PGI), signifying that they are brewed using only local ingredients by traditional methods. Another example of this is Champagne from the Champagne region in France – and nowhere else!

Shepherd Neame is the only brewery in the UK to be awarded the ISO 14001 accreditation. This is an international standard supporting environmental management techniques.
